Killer Work, And Very Much Appreciated
I just wanted to circle back and say how much your mix, your VO, and the music kick ass in this spot. Your sound design coupled with the visuals make this the most "epic" spot we've done to date. Like Michael Bay would be jealous epic. It sounds like a freakin' action movie, which is exactly what it needed. Killer work, and very much appreciated.
Best Experience I've Ever Had With Voiceover
Jason is a true pleasure to work with and a consummate professional. Beyond his obvious talent, he’s one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with as a producer; completely reliable, accommodated all our requests, communicates well, follows-up and repeatedly goes above and beyond. Working with Jason has been the best experience I’ve ever had with voiceover!
Talented, Listens Well, Takes Feedback Well
With collaborators I look for someone who is not only talented but listens, takes feedback well, and is enjoyable to work with. Jason is all of those things and that’s why when I have a sound design or mixing project he’s always my first call.
Communicates Trustworthiness, Confidence And Compassion
We have been working with Jason as a sound designer for years in addition to his work for us as a voice talent. His expertise and ability to translate often tricky direction is amazing. This experience in sound design certainly informs his work as a voice talent. His voice is perfect when we want to communicate trustworthiness, confidence and compassion. Working with Jason as a voice talent, sound designer or often, both, is always a stress free experience making repeat bookings a no brainer!
"Jason's voice equals goosebumps. Not the R. L. Stein book series. Real. Actual. Goosebumps."

The goal of sound design is to enhance the story, draw you closer, and make the characters and surroundings more engaging. Through customized sound effects, stock music, creative vocal processing and more. For the past 20 years, I’ve provided sound design and mixing services for companies like Coca-Cola, The Cayman Islands, Erlanger Health, Kodak, AT&T, The Georgia Lottery, Toyota, and REI.

Let’s face it. You’re juggling multiple projects. You want to work with a professional that can do it right and save you time. Someone who will understand your requirements and bring your creative vision to life without the hand holding. That is what I bring to the table. The experience, the equipment, and the discerning ear to deliver a polished final product that will meet or exceed your expectations as efficiently as possible.
Clients have come to rely on my ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively. I appreciate input at any level of the project, but you can also feel confident that your project is in good hands regardless of the level of supervision. Your satisfaction is my number one priority.
You always remember your first recording. Mine was a poorly reenacted Brady Bunch skit into a tabletop dictation cassette machine. I was six years old, but I was hooked. Flash forward through piano lessons, band practice, car stereos, four-track cassette recorders, and a synthesizer, until I’m sitting in a large professional recording studio in Atlanta with a newly minted degree in Music Engineering Technology from The University of Miami.
I learned how to create worlds with sound over the next decade or so. Starting with a written script, layering in sound effects, searching through CDs for the right music, revising and refining copy, editing tape, and adjusting levels manually. The process was incredibly hands-on in the beginning. Now, the process is much quicker and more efficient. But it still takes a certain level of detail and nuance to make the audio something extraordinary.
I still enjoy connecting the technical and creative in the pursuit of a good story. Over the past eleven years, I’ve built a professional recording studio and a business. Traveled to countries like India, France, Ireland, Spain, and Italy while also taking time to explore a good chunk of the United States. Photography has provided me with a way to capture, create, and tell other kinds of stories. And did I mention my ever-evolving DIY project that includes a vintage Airstream trailer and seventeen acres of forest? But that’s a story for a later day.
Voiceovers start in a custom-treated WhisperRoom booth, outfitted with a carefully curated selection of Neumann and Sennheiser microphones, Neve and Hardy preamps, and DBX compressors. I can connect to anywhere in the world over a gigabit internet connection, using services like Source Connect Pro, ipDTL, Telos phone patch, Google Hangouts, FaceTime, or Skype. I can even read with picture or music, edit on the fly, and screen-share in some cases if you want to follow along.
Editing and mixing happen in my acoustically treated studio space outfitted with Adams and Genelec monitors and my 12 core Mac Pro running Protools HD software. I utilize the latest software from Izotope, Waves, Exponential Audio, AudioEase, and Serato to make sure everything sounds perfect.
If your project requires more extensive production work, I have access to excellent music production libraries, and my sound effects library has more than 80,000 instantly searchable sound effects.
Find out how my voice can help your project like it has for so many National brands. Perhaps I can enhance your video with just the right sound design. Better yet, combine the two for the ultimate experience.LET’S TALK
